Kristen Bell took center stage at the 2025 SAG Awards, delivering a monologue that blended humor with heartfelt tributes.

The actress, returning as host for the second time, opened the ceremony with a parody of Frozen’s hit song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, playfully highlighting the awkward early roles many actors take in Hollywood.

The show kicked off with a sketch set in the Hacks universe, where Jean Smart’s Deborah Vance humorously discovered she had lost her hosting gig due to unpaid dues. Following the comedic start, Bell took the stage and turned the spotlight on L.A. firefighters, acknowledging their service as they sat at a dedicated table during the event.

This marks Bell’s first time attending as a nominee, having been recognized for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This. Reflecting on her return as host, Bell expressed excitement, stating she was honored to celebrate fellow actors.

SAG Awards executive producer Jon Brockett praised Bell’s wit and charm, calling her the perfect fit for the event. The 2025 SAG Awards streamed live on Netflix for the second consecutive year under its multi-year partnership with SAG-AFTRA, produced by Silent House Productions. With Bell’s signature humor and heartfelt tributes, the night set the stage for a memorable awards season.
