QUETTA:

National Party (NP) central leader Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Saturday criticized the 'government's indifference', stating that Balochistan's situation was worsening due to daily road blockades and enforced disappearances.

He was addressing a meeting of the party's central committee convened under his chairmanship at the Muhammad Shahi House in Quetta.

He hit out at the 'government's anti-people policies', blaming them for the escalating crisis, and emphasized that the National Party was actively playing its role in the opposition within the Senate and National Assembly.

He further stated that the federal government's policies towards Balochistan had aggravated issues, warning that the use of force would only worsen the situation.
