The International Cricket Council (ICC) has admitted to a technical error after Pakistan’s name was missing from the event logo during the broadcast of the India vs Bangladesh match in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Viewers noticed that while the tournament logo included Pakistan’s name during the Pakistan vs New Zealand match a day earlier, it was absent during the India-Bangladesh broadcast, prompting concerns and questions online.

In response, the ICC acknowledged the issue, attributing it to a graphics error.

"The issue occurred due to a technical glitch and will be fixed from tomorrow. It was not possible to change the logo during the match," an ICC spokesperson said.

The spokesperson further clarified that Pakistan’s name remained visible in match clips shared on ICC’s social media accounts, and the omission only affected the live broadcast logo.
