Music producer Benny Blanco has opened up about his relationship with Selena Gomez, expressing both deep admiration and personal insecurities. In an interview with Interview Magazine, Blanco, 36, admitted he sometimes fears Gomez could change her mind about being with him.
Despite this, he emphasized their strong bond, saying they support each other without ego. Gomez, 32, playfully reassured him, calling his concerns "romantic" and joking that he’s “stuck” with her. Their relationship, which started as a friendship in 2013 and turned romantic in 2023, led to their engagement in December 2024.
Channeling their personal journey into music, the couple is set to release I Said I Love You First on March 21, 2025. The album, featuring the lead single Scared of Loving You, reflects the emotional complexities of their relationship. Initially cautious about working together, they found that collaborating deepened their connection, with Blanco praising Gomez’s raw honesty in songwriting.
Facing media scrutiny and public attention, the couple remains committed to their relationship and artistic vision. As they prepare for the album’s release, they are both excited and anxious, hoping to share their story in a way that resonates with fans.
