The event will also be attended by key officials from PCB and ICC.

The ICC Champions Trophy opening ceremony will take place today at the Diwan-e-Aam of Lahore Fort, featuring a star-studded lineup, including renowned singer Atif Aslam, who will perform the official anthem of the tournament.

Starting from February 19, cricket fans will either be at the stadium or glued to their screens for 19 action-packed days, eagerly waiting to see which team emerges as the ultimate champion.

Before the on-field battles begin, the opening ceremony will set the stage with a special panel discussion featuring cricket legends.

The event will also be attended by key officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif officially inaugurated the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, just days before the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. The event marked a historic moment in the stadium's 65-year history.
