UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is no stranger to controversy. However, his latest Instagram live has fans concerned about his antics.
Jon Jones went live on Instagram in the early hours of Friday night and was apparently talking about wanting to kill someone.
“You go on a trip, and get p*ssed off, disappointed" Jones can be heard saying. "And as a Dad, you just wanna kill ‘em” he said beforing ending the live.
Jones is no stranger to controversy, having been involved in his fair share of issues outside the octagon.
Jon Jones was involved in a hit-and-run in Albuquerque, leaving an injured pregnant woman at the scene.
Police found drug paraphernalia in his car. Initially facing a misdemeanor, charges were upgraded to a felony. Jones surrendered, posted bail, and was stripped of his UFC title.
He later pleaded guilty and received 18 months of probation.
Jones was also arrested in Las Vegas in 2021 after an alleged domestic dispute with his fiancée, a day after his UFC Hall of Fame induction.
His fiancée had blood on her face but declined a protective order. Jones reportedly headbutted a police vehicle during the arrest.
In 2024, a drug-testing agent accused Jones of assault and death threats. He pled not guilty, later agreeing to anger management classes to resolve the case.
His latest controversy has fans wondering when Jones can be seen in the octagon defending his Heavyweight crown.
Potential opponents, including current interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall, have been mentioned.
