Al-Qaeda leader Zawahiri in Pakistan: Pentagon
"We have no information to indicate that he is anywhere else than in Pakistan," Pentagon spokesman George Little said.
Zawahiri, a veteran Egyptian militant and long-time Al-Qaeda number two, took over the jihadist network after bin Laden was killed in a clandestine raid by US Navy commandos in Pakistan on May 2.
Zawahiri, in the 62-minute video entitled "The Dawn of Imminent Victory," and which featured a speech by Bin Laden, said he was praying this year's Arab Spring would be followed by a "gloomy, bitter-cold American winter."
"The popular revolutions, he stated, are a form of defeat for the United States, just as the 9/11 attacks and its alleged lack of success in Afghanistan and Iraq were also defeats," the US monitoring service SITE said.
Zawahiri was only shown in a still picture in the video, which was released by Al-Qaeda's media arm, as-Sahab, and posted on jihadist websites Monday.
The Pentagon said the footage of Bin Laden in the video appeared to be the same material found in the US raid on his Pakistan hideout in May, which Washington released but without its soundtrack.

USA is blaming Pakistan for the purpose of harassment and in case of refusal they will be asked

Seriously enough with the US's war. We should get out of this war, it was a horrible decision on our part to even be a part of it, and still we hear do more.

If Pakistan does not find Zawahri the Americans will locate him and then hollow cries of sovereignty being breached will be heard. Another OBL type fiasco should be avoided.

It's crystal clear that people like Zawahiri aren't doing anything good for Islam or Muslims,instead their actions and statements do the exact opposite. I pray that Mullah politicians and their blind supporters realize the reality.
We have got inspirations like Jinnah, Allama Iqbal,Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and few more among our history.....why don't the youth realize that these figures are our historical assets which nobody can snatch from us,these historical assets are more lasting than the strategic assets of our establishment. Infact, Iqbal was damn right when he said that the religion of Mullah is just 'Fasaad'.When will Rationality spread like Dengue fever in my nation?

They mean to say "Zawahri will soon be brought from US into Afganistan, killed in encounter and will bring in Stealth Helicopter and drop nearby GHQ and then another theater will be open to media"
they just need some constant excuses to be active here and reasons to threaten Pakistan. This game should be over now as it is in turkey !
Catching this bad guy would do a lot in salvaging Pakistan's tarnished image in the World. If America finds him like OBL then all bets are off.
