Taylor Swift fans, known as the Swifties, have launched an online attack against the mother of Philadelphia Eagles star CJ Gardner-Johnson after he taunted Travis Kelce following the Eagles’ 40-22 Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
After the victory, Gardner-Johnson posted a photo mocking Kelce and referenced his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, writing, “Should’ve stayed with that thick s****.” The comment angered Swifties, who retaliated by flooding his mother’s restaurant, King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida, with negative reviews.

According to TMZ, the onslaught of one-star ratings called the restaurant “horrible” and “underwhelming,” prompting Google to remove recent reviews and Yelp to disable comments due to an “Unusual Activity Alert.”
C.J. Gardner-Johnson's parents, Brian and Del, addressed the backlash on TMZ Live, making it clear they’re unfazed by the online attacks. They revealed that King’s Grill has actually been closed since late January, meaning the negative reviews had no real impact.
Instead, they’ve moved on to owning and operating a new restaurant, Village Bier Garten, in Cocoa, Florida. Del confidently stated, "We're going to be fine regardless of who posts what or says anything."
Meanwhile, Nicole, who dated Kelce for five years before their 2022 split, added to the controversy by celebrating with Eagles players on the field after the game. She was seen dancing and holding green and white confetti, captioning her post, “They said there’s room on the wagon y’all.”

The Super Bowl loss was already humiliating for Kelce, who was held to just four receptions and 39 yards. Now, with his ex celebrating the Eagles' win and Swifties targeting Gardner-Johnson’s family, the drama continues off the field.
