British singer Ed Sheeran is currently touring India as part of his ‘The Mathematics Tour’ and recently performed two concerts in Bengaluru.
During his stay, a memorable moment was captured when he was seen riding a scooter with Indian singer Arijit Singh in his hometown of Jiyanganj, Murshidabad district, West Bengal. The video of the duo, with Sheeran seated behind Singh, quickly circulated on social media, gaining attention for its simplicity and casual nature.
The duo, along with a few friends, spent nearly five hours in Jiyanganj, followed by an hour-long boat ride on the Bhagirathi River.
Despite the attention surrounding his visit, Sheeran opted against taking extra security, a decision confirmed by the DIG. This comes after a brief performance by Sheeran in Bengaluru's Church Street, which was interrupted by police.
