HYDERABAD:

The three-day Sindhu River Games 2025, held under the Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Commission on the banks of the Indus River in Jamshoro, concluded with a closing ceremony and prize distribution event. Director Sports Sindh Imdad Ali Abro distributed prizes among the winning athletes.

Abro appreciated the enthusiastic participation of young women and men and arrangements by organising Secretary and District Sports Officer Jamshoro Tahseen Kausar Channa.

The winners of the Sindhu River Games 2025 included Gul Hassan Chandio, who secured first position in Malakhra, while Sikandar Chandio remained runner-up. Sohail secured first position and Haider Memon second in Kabaddi. In volleyball, Taluka Kotri was the winner in the boys' competition, and Taluka Jamshoro was the runner-up, while Govt Girls Degree College Senior won the winner's trophy in the girls' competition.

In other events, Aisle Girls College secured first place in the throwball girls' competition, while Workers Intermediate Girls College took second place. Karachi secured first place and Hyderabad remained runner-up in tennis. Farhan Jatoi from Jamshoro bagged first position in the shot put boys' competition, while Abresh was runner-up.
