Constable accused of assaulting teen in Vehari

A police constable has been accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy in an incident that took place inside the guardroom of the Judicial Colony, located in front of Thana Daniwal.

Despite an FIR being registered, the suspect is still at large.

The victim, a 13-year-old resident of Shabbirabad, was on his way to Vehari city for shopping when he was allegedly stopped by Constable Farooq, who is stationed at the Judicial Colony.

The officer reportedly forced the boy into a room and assaulted him.

Following the incident, the victim's father filed a complaint, leading Thana Daniwal police to register a case against the accused.

However, despite public outrage and growing concern over the incident, the suspect has yet to be arrested.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with the victim's family and local residents demanding the immediate arrest of the accused.
