The Saddar police claimed to have arrested and registered a case against a man who gave false information about planning a terrorist attack on District Kachhari and CPO office.
Arrested accused Asif called Rescue 15 that four people are planning to attack CPO office and district police station in Faisalabad.
On which the police officers immediately reached the spot and confirmed the call which was found to be bogus.
On which the accused Asif, who made the bogus call of terrorism, was arrested and a case was registered under the 29th Telegraph Act.
CPO Rana Abdul Wahab said that to avoid bogus calls on the Rescue Emergency Call Service, legal action will be taken against those who make hoax calls.
Meanwhile, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Faisalabad zone team arrested a human smuggler agent involved in sending the citizens to Europe via Kyrgyzstan and locked him up.
On the instructions of Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, actions are being taken against elements involved in human trafficking.
FIA has arrested a land route agent involved in human trafficking in a raid.
The arrested accused was identified as Amir Hanif. The accused was arrested in a raid on Jhang Road, Faisalabad.
