PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the country is moving ahead on the path of progress and prosperity.
While meeting MPAs From Faisalabad division along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, he said economic improvement and reduction in inflation are indicators of betterment in the country. The stock exchange index had risen from 30,000 to 120,000 points.
With the continuation of economic development, the conditions of the people can change, he added.
He said Pakistan's journey towards decline had halted and it was now treading on the path of progress and prosperity.
The PML-N president and Punjab chief minister met members of Punjab Assembly from Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang districts. The situation of the country and ongoing public service development projects in Punjab were reviewed in the meeting.
He said, "Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working hard. Concrete progress is being made on reforming institutions and the system. Maryam Nawaz Sharif has made me and the party proud as the Chief Minister of Punjab."
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on the occasion, "Only PML-N can ensure progress and prosperity of Pakistan." Mawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz Sharif had met Members of Punjab Assembly from Gujranwala, Narowal and Sialkot districts a couple of days earlier to discuss various ongoing development and public welfare projects. The overall political situation of the country besides future strategies in economic development and public welfare both at the national and provincial levels were also discussed in the meeting.
The PML-N president said, "Decline in the pace of inflation is an indication of economic improvement in the country." He added, "Rise in the stock exchange is a reflection of the confidence of business and investment community." He highlighted, "Increase in the pace of journey towards development is reflective of a pleasant change."
He said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is working with a spirit of a mother and a daughter." He added,"Allah Almighty also holds hands of those who serve His creation with good intentions and hard work."
