In another tragic incident today, a dumper hit a motorcycle at Malir Halt, killing a father and son, while the mother was injured.

The responsible driver fled the scene after the incident, Express News reported.

According to the police, the husband, wife, and their son were critically injured and were being transferred to Jinnah Hospital. Unfortunately, the father and son succumbed to their injuries before reaching the hospital, while the mother was admitted in critical condition.

The deceased father and son have been identified as 38-year-old Saleem and 13-year-old Afaq, while the injured mother is 30-year-old Rubina.

Earlier, yesterday, in the limits of Shahrah-e-Faisal police station, a speeding dumper ran over motorcyclists near Millennium Mall on Rashid Minhas Road, killing three people, including a couple. The scene of the accident was so heartbreaking that bystanders were left in shock.

Sindh Governor warns of strict measures

Sindh Governor, Kamran Tessori, has warned that if 'killer dumpers' are not controlled in Karachi, he will be forced to take extreme measures.

Expressing his strong anger and frustration over the increasing number of dumper accidents in Karachi, Kamran Tessori said that on a single day, four citizens were killed in the city.

He raised the question, why are such incidents happening only in Karachi? Why do dumper drivers run away after crushing people, leaving behind a trail of death and destruction?

Tessori further criticized the negligence of the authorities and asked how long they would allow innocent citizens to lose their lives. He demanded that strict action be taken against the company responsible for any dumper-related accident.

The Governor also called on the Sindh government to devise a plan of action against the dumper mafia within a week.

He made it clear that if the government does not act, he would take matters into his own hands, including attending the funerals of the victims.
