A celebrity PR expert has revealed the strategy behind Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s controversial Grammys stunt.
During the event, Censori removed her fur coat, exposing a sheer minidress with no bra or underwear. PR expert Quincy Dash believes the moment was carefully planned by West.
“They’re in show business,” Dash told The Post. “Kanye understands PR better than anyone. His strategy is that all press is good press.”
Dash explained that the stunt was designed to generate profit.
“As soon as it happened, he promoted his clothing line,” Dash said. “The more outrageous, the more attention, the more money they make.”
Shortly after, the 24-time Grammy winner shared an image of Censori’s outfit, calling it a “Custom Couture Grammy dress.”
Dash noted that Censori benefits just as much from the media frenzy.
“She’s gaining attention and recognition. Before Kanye, no one knew her. Now, everyone does,” he said. “It’s a crazy strategy, but it works.”
West, meanwhile, dressed simply in all black with dark sunglasses.
“This was a successful stunt,” Dash stated. “Every media outlet is covering it. Social media is on fire. For Kanye, all publicity is good.”
An insider told Page Six that the moment was meant to replicate the Vultures album cover, where Censori wore only thigh-high boots and a tiny piece of fabric.
“Kanye knows what he’s doing,” Dash added. “They’re in a partnership, and she understands what she’s gaining. It’s all part of the plan.”
While there’s no word on whether the Grammys will fine them for nudity, Dash said the Recording Academy is reviewing the situation.
The couple, married in 2022, has not addressed their viral moment. West was nominated for Best Rap Song but lost to Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us.
