xQc roasted for "broke college student" bedroom setup despite millionaire status
Twitch streamer xQc, real name Félix Lengyel, faced criticism on social media for his minimalist bedroom setup, with some joking that he lives like a "broke college student" despite his millionaire status.
The debate started when fellow streamer StableRonaldo called out xQc for having his bed and TV placed directly on the floor. "Wait, why do you have a bed on the ground and a TV on the ground when you make $10M a month? Yo, what is wrong with you? That sht’s hard," he said during a live stream. "Why does your bed have no bed frame? You’re more worried about Pokémon cards being on a fcking wall than the way you sleep!"
The viral clip sparked widespread reactions, with one X (formerly Twitter) user commenting, "xQc is a billionaire living like he's a broke college student."

Some compared his lifestyle to fellow Twitch star Asmongold, notorious for his unkempt living space. "That’s why he likes Asmon," one user joked. Others referenced how Asmongold’s messy room is so infamous that the Power Wash Simulator game declined to feature it as a playable level.
Despite the roasting, xQc remains one of the most successful Twitch streamers. With an estimated net worth of $50 million, he primarily earns through streaming, sponsorships, and a lucrative Kick contract. He previously competed for Team Canada in the Overwatch World Cup (2018, 2019) and continues to be a dominant figure in the streaming world, ranking as the seventh-most-followed Twitch streamer in 2025, behind Kai Cenat and Ninja.
