Kanye West stirred controversy on February 1, 2025, with a series of erratic posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Among the most shocking was a now-deleted text exchange where he confessed his desire to have sex with Vice President Kamala Harris, a remark he later apologized for in a post to Harris’ children. Harris, who has no biological children, is the stepmother to Doug Emhoff's two kids.
Along with the explicit comment, West proclaimed that he is once again a billionaire, a claim that does not align with Forbes’ valuation of his net worth. The rapper also expressed admiration for Donald Trump, who has distanced himself from West in recent years.
In his posts, West sarcastically claimed that Democrats forced him to remove the offensive post about Harris, stating, "Dey don’t control Black people no more. Trump 4 life." He then apologized to Harris' children, adding, "Kamala seems like a very nice human."

This isn't the first time West's behavior has sparked outrage. In 2022, he visited Mar-a-Lago with white supremacist Nick Fuentes, and later made headlines for praising Adolf Hitler and promoting antisemitism during a controversial appearance on Alex Jones’ show.
Despite these actions, West continues to use social media platforms like X to air his divisive views, fueling ongoing criticism of his controversial public statements and actions.
