At least eight matches in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025 are believed to have been targeted for fixing.
Anti-corruption authorities have raised concerns over suspicious outcomes, with sources and media reports suggesting possible manipulation.
Local media has seen documents indicating that the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) is closely monitoring 10 players and 4 franchises.
Among the 10 suspected players, six have previously represented the Bangladesh national team, while two are new players, and two are foreign players. The media has also published a list of the suspicious matches.
According to officials, some of these matches saw bowlers deliberately delivering three consecutive wides and large no-balls.
Additionally, the suspected playing elevens displayed slow batting during the middle overs, which was also noted by authorities.
