HYDERABAD:

An Anti Terrosim Court on Friday granted five-day physical remand of nine persons accused in the FIR of triple murders in Sanghar on January 27 to the police.

During the hearing the ATC discarded the investigation committee formed by SSP Sanghar because it was not headed by a BPS-18 police officer. The court pointed out that a joint investigation team is supposed to be headed by a SP but the one formed to probe the incident in question was headed by a DSP.

Three men were killed and more than 15 were injured in an alleged attack by men associated with PPP's MNA Allaudin Junejo and his cousin Attaullah Junejo, who is prime accused in the FIR, in Chotiarion area.
