The leaker, known as Majin Bu, confirmed the notch, adding that Apple had initially planned to use the Dynamic Island feature, but this model will instead retain the traditional notch.

Bu also shared insights on the anticipated release timeline, suggesting the SE 4 could launch in early April 2025, making it Apple’s first major iPhone release of the year.

In a separate post on December 31, Bu revealed that the SE 4 would feature an OLED display and an action button. The video appears to confirm the presence of the action button above the volume controls.

At the time, Bu also mentioned that the phone might be branded as the iPhone 16E rather than the SE 4, though no further details were provided on the name change.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to mark a significant update for the series, with reports suggesting it will adopt features from newer iPhone models, such as Face ID, an OLED display, and a USB-C port. The last iPhone SE model, the SE 3, launched in March 2022.

This new iteration of the iPhone SE will likely appeal to customers looking for a more affordable option with upgraded technology.
