Paul Pogba has sparked speculation of a return to Manchester United with a cryptic message on Instagram, as the midfielder prepares to return to football following his suspension.

The 31-year-old is serving an 18-month ban after testing positive for DHEA, a banned substance linked to increased testosterone.

Initially handed a four-year suspension, Pogba’s ban was reduced after an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Pogba’s contract with Juventus was terminated in November 2023, leaving him as a free agent.

Training in Miami ahead of his scheduled return in March, the Frenchman shared Instagram posts hinting at a potential move.

One post depicted him in a Manchester United kit alongside current player Amad, while another was captioned, “Let’s see what’s coming...”

Reports suggest Pogba is considering options from several clubs, with Marseille reportedly among those interested.

Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi previously expressed openness to the signing, and former United teammate Mason Greenwood has also praised Pogba, saying, “Any team in Europe would love to have him.”

Manchester United fans online, however, were less keen on the idea. Many took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their disapproval with even the idea of 'Pogback 3.0.'

As Pogba eyes a return to the pitch, speculation about his next move continues to grow.
