Police discovered her lifeless body on January 21 after she had reportedly been unreachable for five days. Officers arrived at the scene with a concerned relative and, with assistance from firefighters, forced open the locked door to her flat.
Inside, they found Adriana’s body along with her two pugs, which had begun to consume her remains. Authorities noted the dogs had been left unfed during the time she was undiscovered.
Emergency medical teams confirmed Adriana’s death, with no initial signs of violence observed. Her body has been transported to the Gorj Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Preliminary findings indicated cadaveric lividity, a post-mortem condition where blood pools in the lower parts of the body, which can provide clues to the time and circumstances of death.

Following the discovery, the pugs were removed from the property under a shelter order and are now in the care of Gorj County Council workers.
Adriana’s death has shocked her community, with many taking to social media to express their grief and condolences. Her sister, Maria Alexandra, shared an emotional tribute, saying, "Another angel has gone to heaven. My beautiful sister Anda Sasha is no longer among us."
Police have stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact events leading up to her death. No foul play has been ruled out at this time. Adriana’s tragic passing has left friends and family mourning the loss of a young woman whose life was cut short under harrowing circumstances.
