Bobbi Althoff regrets soft-launching her recent relationship

The relationship, her first since her split from ex-husband last February, didn’t last despite her initial optimism.

Bobbi Althoff has confirmed that she’s single again, offering insight into her recent breakup and journey as a single parent. The 27-year-old podcaster and influencer took to TikTok on Monday to share an update on her love life, revealing that her relationship with the man she soft-launched on social media last month has ended.

“There's really no tea. I have nothing negative to say about said person,” Althoff shared in the video. “Me and my ex-husband broke up like in July of 2023, and I didn't talk to anybody else or anything for about a year after. And then I got lonely, met a guy around Thanksgiving. And I think things moved really fast—I don't know, I thought it was f*cking fate. Clearly it wasn't.”

The relationship, her first since her split from ex-husband Cory Althoff last February, didn’t last despite her initial optimism. “He was really sweet and really f*cking thoughtful,” she said, describing the man. The romance fizzled after two breakups—first initiated by him and then later by her. “When I tried to undo my breakup, there was no undo-ing it. He was done, so yeah, that's the tea. Back at it.”

Addressing potential criticism, Althoff acknowledged, “Dating is just hard, you guys. Like, I don't know, because I know people are gonna be like, just focus on your kids and you don't need anybody.”

Althoff, a mother of two, commended her ex-husband for being an “incredible father” as they continue to co-parent their children. Reflecting on her first marriage, she shared, “I was 21 when we met. He was 30. I was really young. I was immature, and our kids are so much better off with us apart.”

Despite her recent heartbreak, Althoff remains hopeful about finding love. “So I'm going to go back to dating again because I don't think because my first relationship didn't work out and I have kids, that means that I need to be single for the rest of my life,” she explained. Fighting back tears, she added, “I tear up every time I say that because I don't believe I'm going to. It's just like hard to imagine finding someone who is like truly good for you. It's hard to imagine there's a world where there's like someone who's actually meant for you.”

In December, rumors swirled that Althoff might be dating NFL players Cedric Ogbuehi or Sean Murphy-Bunting after her since-deleted soft-launch video on TikTok. Both men have since denied the speculation.
