Former federal minister Faisal Vawda has said that Pakistan's ''faulty judicial system'' is the root cause of the country's problems, adding that it was not possible to materialise the vision of founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, with the current 'unfair judicial system'.

Speaking on a private TV channel on Tuesday, Vawda slammed the judiciary for its inconsistencies, citing the execution of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto by the judiciary only to issue a mea culpa after the passage of 45 years, finally admitting that it was a 'judicial murder'.

Regarding PTI founding chairman Imran Khan's incarceration, he said the ex-prime minister would not hesitate for a minute to accept a deal if he is offered one.

However, he said no deal had been offered to the incarcerated former premier yet. "If a military trial happens, it wouldn't shock me," he added.
