Bad Bunny’s latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, has climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, narrowly beating Taylor Swift's Lover (Live From Paris) by a margin of just 1,000 units.
This marks the Puerto Rican reggaeton star’s fourth album to achieve the top spot, with Debí Tirar Más Fotos earning 203,500 units in its first full tracking week ending January 16.
Taylor Swift's Lover (Live From Paris), bolstered by a vinyl reissue and digital download release, surged to 202,500 units. Swift’s vinyl copies, which sold out almost instantly, accounted for 161,000 units—the highest sales week for a live album on vinyl since tracking began in 1991. Previously peaking at No. 58 in February 2023 during a limited release, the live album’s resurgence is a testament to Swift’s enduring popularity.
Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos benefited largely from streaming, amassing 264 million streams during the week. The album's physical sales were limited, contributing just under 8,000 units. Released on January 5, the album initially debuted at No. 2, constrained by Billboard’s tracking window of Friday through Thursday.
Swift’s Lover (Live From Paris) now holds the title of the highest-charting live album on the Billboard 200 in over five years, surpassing Lionel Richie’s 2019 Hello From Las Vegas.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, SZA’s SOS held at No. 3, Kendrick Lamar’s GNX ranked No. 4, and Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet secured No. 6. The competitive week highlights the growing dominance of diverse music genres and formats in the industry.
