LAHORE:

Senator Faisal Vawda's predictions about PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi's conviction in the £190 million reference and other matters have turned out to be true.

Vawda had been repeating time and again that the Al-Qadir Trust case was the biggest financial scandal of the country and that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi would get convicted in the case.

He was a minister in the former premier Imran Khan's cabinet when it approved the settlement of £190 million. When the matter was presented to the cabinet, Vawda cautioned Imran Khan and cabinet members that it would be an open and shut case. He advised them against approving a settlement of £190 million from the cabinet but none paid heed to his advice.
