Komal Aziz Khan is ever-ready to strike out invasive comments about her life. That includes prying questions she's quick to counter on Instagram Stories during a Q/A session.

When asked why she is not getting married, Komal answered, "Because I watch all of you being miserable in your marriages and inboxing single women like me while being married."

While the sharp reply was an apt justification to shut down those poking their noses in her business, Komal's defence didn't stop there. "I have high standards. Once someone meets them, I will give it a thought. My life is pretty awesome without marriage as of now," she declared.

Komal's bold streak is consistent, showing little tolerance for judgemental comments about her recently launched business. One follower wrote, "Hope with this you now start treating your employees better."

With a scathing reply at hand, Komal fired back, "You mean tolerate mediocre girls with no talent causing useless drama? Bhai sahib, I have a company to build and dreams to chase."

Staying true to her principles, Komal added, "Anyone who doesn't like working for me can go find a new job. I am not changing my standards or my rules."

Komal also fielded criticism about her pricing structure with a few well-chosen words. "Kindly reduce the price so any people can purchase it," read one seemingly miffed comment.

The actor-turned-entrepreneur's answer did not seek to assuage the commenter's feelings. "Kindly start working harder to make more money," she advised. "Maybe get a second job. Upskill yourself." Defending her product, Komal added, "The clothes at [my store] are the most affordable, especially when we run sales."

Elaborating about her business, Komal also revealed that she had to shift locations in order to keep operations going, citing the landlord's greediness and lack of cooperation. "A lot of weak men think that a woman running a business alone is exploitable," she noted. "Little do they know."

Earlier, showing off her sense of humour, Komal had no qualms about replying to comments about her weight gain. "Slowly turning into a seth [businessman] with a mota pait [fat stomach]" quipped the Mohlat actor with a wink/laugh emoji. "Just kidding," she added. "Running a business is stressful. I end up stress-eating during difficult times."

With one last witty line up her sleeve, Komal rounded off her response in Roman Urdu as she wrote, "I don't smoke, so I end up eating to calm myself."
