Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has shared an amusing anecdote about actor Hamza Ali Abbasi borrowing his phone to message his now-wife, Naimal Khawar, before their marriage.

In a video clip circulating on social media, Atif, Hamza, and Naimal are seen engaging in a light-hearted conversation.

Atif revealed that during their pilgrimage to Mecca, Hamza, who did not have his phone with him, used Atif’s mobile to communicate with Naimal.

“He didn’t have a phone during Hajj, so Hamza asked Naimal to text him on my phone. He then took over and started chatting with her,” Atif recounted humorously.

According to Atif, the couple even discussed their wedding plans during the trip, including the date and venue.

Atif added that Naimal asked Hamza not to cut his long hair at the time.

Hamza chimed in, calling Atif his “Hajj companion,” adding, “Atif helped me a lot during Hajj. He gave me soap, a toothbrush, and even slippers when I didn’t have them.”
