Pakistani singer Jawad Ahmad is facing legal trouble after his wife’s beauty salon was caught stealing electricity, leading to an altercation with Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) officials.

During a routine inspection in Johar Town, LESCO officials discovered that the salon’s electric meter had been tampered with. According to reports, the phase wire had been deliberately cut, a common tactic used to evade electricity charges.

The situation escalated when Jawad Ahmad arrived at the scene. LESCO officials allege that the singer reacted angrily, assaulted the meter readers, and forcibly took the tampered meter. He then reportedly left with the device and his wife.

Following the incident, LESCO disconnected the electricity supply to the salon and lodged a formal complaint at Nawab Town Police Station. The company has also submitted details of the tampered meter to higher authorities.

Jawad Ahmad has not yet publicly responded to the incident and allegations.
