Saif Ali Khan's intruders reportedly targeted sons Taimur and Jeh's room first
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured during a break-in at his Mumbai home, where he was stabbed by an intruder while protecting his family. The incident began in the rooms of his sons, Taimur and Jehangir, at their Bandra residence. Saif is currently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital.
As reported by Filmfare, the break-in at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Bandra residence started in the room of their sons, Taimur and Jehangir. Strangely, the building’s security guard stated they did not notice any unfamiliar person entering the premises.
Saif Ali Khan’s team disclosed that the actor was helping his family down the stairs when the incident happened. Acting swiftly, he positioned himself between his loved ones and the intruder to protect them, suffering six stab wounds in the process, two of which are severe.
Dr. Niraj Uttamani of Lilavati Hospital confirmed Saif was admitted at 3:30 a.m., with one injury dangerously near his spine.
He also confirmed that the neurosurgery has been successfully completed, and the plastic surgeon is continuing to repair the wounds. He added, "Saif is out of danger. We will give a report in an hour."
A team of specialists, including neurosurgeons and plastic surgeons, is treating Saif Ali Khan after he sustained severe injuries during a burglary at his Bandra home around 3 AM. Neurosurgery has been successfully completed, and Saif is out of danger, with further updates expected soon. The thief remains at large, and police are reviewing CCTV footage for leads.
