National Security Committee meets to review anti-terrorism strategy
A meeting of the NSC was held at the Parliament House, chaired by Senator Rabbani to review the anti-terrorism strategy.

                        During the meeting the Director General Military Operation and the Defense Secretary briefed the government on the anti-terrorism policy.
Talking to the media Rabbani called the review of the anti-terrorism strategy the committee’s sovereign power. He further added that the committee will soon present it's recommendations to the government, after which it will be up to the government to ensure implementation.
The next meeting of the committee will be held on July 7th and 8th.
