The ICC Men's Champions Trophy is making its highly anticipated return next month, following an eight-year hiatus since its last edition in 2017.

In a new promo video featuring Pakistan cricket legend Wasim Akram, the ICC pays tribute to the iconic 'white jackets' and invites fans to join the journey as eight teams go "All On The Line" in this prestigious tournament.

Scheduled from February 19 to March 9, the tournament will span 19 days and feature 15 thrilling matches. The eight competing teams will be divided into two groups for the opening stage, with each team playing three group matches. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.

The ICC underscores the high-stakes nature of the event, where every match is crucial. Teams are not only battling for the coveted Champions Trophy but also for the legendary white jacket— a symbol of ultimate greatness and determination.

The jacket represents a champion’s relentless pursuit of excellence and serves as a badge of honor worn by those who achieve cricketing greatness.

Wasim Akram, whose career spanned three decades, emphasizes the jacket's significance in the promo, describing it as a symbol of the journey to victory. "The ICC Men's Champions Trophy represents the best of the best," Akram says.

"Winning the jacket signifies putting everything on the line for glory. This tournament will see the strongest team emerge victorious, as every game will be a high-pressure battle with no room for rest."

With the return of the Champions Trophy, excitement is building across the global cricket community as teams prepare to compete in the sport’s most intense and prestigious event.
