Aram Bagh Club beat Civil Tiger Club in a thrilling and closely contested final to by 44-38 to lift the 5th Inverex Trophy Basketball title here at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court on a chilly Sunday night.

The event was organized by Usman and Firdous Ittehad Basketball Club with permission from the KBA.

For the winning team, captain Tahir Ahmed scored 22 points, including 4 three-pointers, while Daniyal Khan Marwat contributed 12 points and Zain-ul-Abideen scored 9 points.

For the runner-up team, Haris Shahid, who exhibited outstanding performance throughout the tournament, scored 15 points, including 3 three-pointers. Muneeb-ur-Rehman Channa scored 10 points, and Nabeel Ahmed added 7 points.

On the occasion, international basketball player Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry was the chief guest and distributed the prizes. Commissioner Karachi's Director of Sports, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, along with various prominent sports personalities, attended the event.

Despite the cold weather and strong winds, players showcased exceptional skills, demonstrating the rapid growth of basketball in Karachi.

Haris Shahid was declared the Player of the Tournament while Daniyal Khan Marwat from Habib Public School was recognized as the Emerging Player. Titans Club was awarded the title of Best Responsible Team.
