Health professionals at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) have completed a bronchoscopy procedure on 10-year-old Minahil, exemplifying their commitment to timely diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases.

The procedure was conducted under the supervision of Medical Superintendent Dr. Faryad Hussain, an Associate Professor of Pediatric Medicine. Minahil's parents expressed their gratitude to the LGH medical team after the successful operation.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar, Principal of Ameer Uddin Medical College, noted that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is personally invested in child healthcare, having allocated a state-of-the-art operation theater at LGH.

Dr Faryad explained that Minahil had been suffering from fever and weight loss for three months before being referred to LGH. Following a thorough examination, doctors recommended a bronchoscopy, which revealed underlying issues beyond tuberculosis.

Medical experts highlighted the importance of bronchoscopy in diagnosing respiratory diseases, noting its effectiveness in identifying infections and serious conditions in children. Minahil is now on the path to recovery, benefiting from the dedicated care at LGH.
