The final of the fifth Inverex Trophy Basketball Tournament will be played on Sunday (today) between Aram Bagh Club and Civil Tigers Club.
In the first semi-final, the young and emerging players of Civil Tigers Club defeated Titans Club in a thrilling and competitive match by a score of 33-30. For the winning team, Haris Shahid scored 19 points, Ahsan Iqbal 8 points, and Muhammad Moaz Ashraf 5 points.
For the runner-up team, Ghazanfar Ali scored 11 points, Mubeen Ahmed 8 points, and Shayan Ali 6 points.
In the second match, Aram Bagh Club defeated the host Usman Club with a score of 44-38.
For the winning team, Hassan Ali scored 17 points, Daniyal Khan Marwat 16 points, and Mutahir Hussain 4 points. For the runner-up team, Mubarez Ahmed scored 13 points, Hamza Khwaja 8 points, and Usman Khwaja 7 points.
The CEO of Inverex Solar Energy, Muhammad Zakir, will be the guest of honor at final on Sunday and will distribute prizes among the players.
The semi-final matches were inaugurated by TMC President and Municipal Commissioner Noor Hassan Jokhio. On this occasion, notable personalities including former KBBA President Ghulam Muhammad Khan, current President Ghulam Abbas Jamal Advocate, MCB's Muhammad Haider Khan, NBP's Muhammad Farooq Khan, UBL's Zulfiqar Abbas Khan, Pakistan Rangers' Farooq Bhatti, Aslam Chaudhry, Police DSP Muhammad Tufail Ahmed, and others were present.
