Hailey Bieber, through her makeup and skincare brand 'Rhode' earned the title of 2024's most impactful celebrity beauty influencer in terms of Earned Media Value (EMV) generating close to $2.2 billion.
EMV measures the value of a brand's exposure from earned media, such as social media content and influencer marketing. It's a way to assign a monetary value to people's interactions with a brand's content, in the form of likes, comments, and shares.
EMV is particularly useful for measuring the effectiveness of a brand's marketing campaign and estimating its ROI.
According to Lefty, an influencer marketing platform that provides data-driven insights to manage brands' marketing strategies, in terms of EMV, Bieber and Rhode ranked at the top ahead of other celebrity beauty brands like Ariana Grande's r.e.m beauty, Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics, and Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty.
Although Bieber launched Rhode in 2022 with the debut of a skincare line, over the years, the brand has expanded to include makeup as well. Known for its unique campaigns and strategies involving a widespread network of influencers, it is no wonder that the brand came out at the top.
