Bail of 17 protestors, held from Numaish Chowrangi, rejected

KARACHI:

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) rejected the bail pleas of 17 out of 19 accused who were arrested from the Numaish Chowrangi during sit-in protest. The court remarked that the case is in its preliminary stage. The court also remarked that no evidence was presented to prove the accused were minors.

The court, meanwhile, approved the bail of two accused, Allama Asghar Shaheedi and Muhammad Abbas, ordering them to submit personal bonds of Rs50,000 each.
