Four killed in head-on collision

In another accident in Dhabeji, a 45-year-old vegetable vendor, Rafique, was killed, and Kashif Buriro was injured.

HYDERABAD:

Four people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the National Highway in Dhabeji, Thatta district, on Thursday. According to the police, one of the cars caught fire after the impact, reportedly due to an LPG cylinder on board. The car remained ablaze on the highway for nearly two hours.

The deceased have been identified as Thatta residents Shahzeb Hingoro, his mother Yasmeen Hingoro, and Karachi residents Izharul Hassan Arain and Rehmatullah. The injured, including Moosa Hingoro and Sarwech Bhatti, were shifted to Karachi.

In another accident in Dhabeji, a 45-year-old vegetable vendor, Rafique, was killed, and Kashif Buriro was injured.

A car driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, struck a motorbike, a mini pickup van, and a vegetable cart before fleeing the area. No FIR has been lodged in the incident.
