A water tanker crushed and killed two people riding a motorcycle near Naval Colony on the Baldia Hub River Road.
The driver of the tanker escaped from the scene.
Rescue workers reached the scene and shifted the bodies of the deceased to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formality.
Rescue officials said that the deceased were identified as 44-year-old Jamil and 30-year-old Muhammad Akbar.
