Five people, including a woman and her daughter, as well as a 14-year-old boy, sustained burn injuries due to gas leaks in their homes.
All victims were transferred to local hospitals for treatment. The first incident involved 35-year-old Razia Bibi, the wife of Muhammad Saleem, who resides in Chak 6 JB Sharqi Gogi Stop within the Nishatabad Police Station limits.
Razia was cooking when nearby petrol unexpectedly ignited, causing severe burns to both her and her 18-year-old daughter, Asma Saleem.
They received immediate medical assistance before being taken to the hospital. In a separate incident, a plumber was fixing a gas leak in the home of Hakim Ali, a resident of 70-Gb in the Saddar Jaranwala area, when a fire broke out in the kitchen due to the gas leak.
