Adidas has responded to Kanye West's recent accusations against the brand in a heated Instagram post regarding his Yeezy partnership.

The rapper, now known as Ye, claimed Adidas was undermining his brand by prioritizing their website in search results for "Yeezy" over his Yeezy.com site. Ye declared their partnership over, stating, “Stop doing this… Our partnership is done.”

In response, Adidas appears to have erased all references to "Yeezy" from its website. Searches for "Yeezy" now redirect to the "Originals" collection, and mentions of "Kanye West" have been removed entirely.

The brand had previously considered writing off $320 million worth of unsold Yeezy merchandise following its severed ties with Ye amid an antisemitism controversy but opted to sell the remaining inventory "at least at cost" in 2024.

Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden confirmed in October that all legal disputes with Ye had been resolved. "There isn’t any more open issues, and there is no… money going either way,” Gulden stated, adding that both parties agreed to withdraw claims and move on.

Ye’s recent remarks reignite tensions, but Adidas’ actions suggest it is firmly distancing itself from the Yeezy brand and its controversial founder.
