PM greets Sharjeel on birth of his grandson
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday visited the residence of Sindh's Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon to congratulate him on the birth of his grandson.
Sharjeel Memon, who holds the portfolios of Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, and his son Rawal Sharjeel Memon, warmly welcomed the prime minister upon his arrival at their residence.
Sharjeel expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for the honour of visiting his residence to offer congratulations.
The meeting between the two, which was held in a cordial atmosphere, featured discussions on national and provincial matters, among other issues.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Mosaddiq Malik, and Atta Tarar, accompanied the prime minister during the visit.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tussori, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, Special Assistant Qasim Naveed Qamar and others were also present.
Separately, the Sindh government has stepped up efforts to introduce and provide eco-friendly electric taxis to the unemployed youth of the province on easy installments. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has issued instructions to Secretary Transport Asad Zaman to contact banks and prepare financial models in this regard.
