Wildfires in Los Angeles forced 30,000 evacuations, including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Santa Monica residents. Mark Hamill and Jamie Lee Curtis shared updates.

On Tuesday, 'Star Wars' actor Hamill posted on Instagram about his harrowing escape. “We evacuated Malibu so last-minute there were small fires on both sides of the road,” Hamill wrote, describing how he, his wife Marilou York, and their dog Trixie reached their daughter’s home in Hollywood. He called the blaze the “most horrific fire since ’93” and urged his followers to stay safe.

Jamie Lee Curtis revealed on Instagram Wednesday morning that her home is at risk. “My community and possibly my home is on fire,” she wrote, expressing gratitude for firefighters and neighbors assisting those in need.

Other celebrities have also been impacted. Mandy Moore evacuated her home with her pets, while Chris Pratt praised firefighters, calling them "true heroes" in an Instagram post. Billie Eilish shared fire department resources, and Kaley Cuoco asked for prayers for the first responders.

The fire began Tuesday morning in Pacific Palisades near Piedra Morada Drive and has burned over 2,900 acres. Winds of up to 100 mph have fueled the flames, forcing additional evacuations in Altadena, Pasadena, and Eaton Canyon. The Los Angeles Fire Department continues to combat the fast-moving wildfire, with residents urged to follow evacuation orders.
