Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has fortified his residence, Galaxy Apartments, with bulletproof glass and reinforced security after receiving continuous death threats, primarily from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
A recent video circulating on social media shows workers installing protective glass panels on Khan’s balcony and windows, a move aimed at ensuring the actor’s safety.
The upgrades follow a shooting incident in April 2024, when two individuals fired near the entrance of the Bandra residence.
While no injuries were reported, the incident prompted Mumbai Police to enhance security around the star and his family.
Khan, who has faced threats over the years, has been under constant police protection. He also obtained a firearm license for self-defence in response to the escalating concerns.
On the professional front, the 57-year-old actor is preparing for the release of his much-anticipated film Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and set to premiere during Eid 2025.
The movie features a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj, and promises high-octane action.
The security measures at Galaxy Apartments reflect both the increasing risks faced by high-profile figures in India and the continued commitment to ensuring Khan’s safety amid ongoing professional commitments.
