BISP blocks 139 agents for deducting beneficiaries' funds
The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Zonal Office Sukkur has blocked over 139 agents on the charge of deducting money from the funds of beneficiaries.
The decision was taken at the BISP officers meeting held in Sukkur to resolve complaints regarding quarterly installments and maintain strict supervision at payment centers in the region, according to a statement issued today.
The meeting was told that a payment center will be set up in Babarloi for the convenience of the public. The meeting advised deserving women to receive their full stipend and not to give any amount to BISP device holders.
"If anyone forcibly deducts money, they should complain to BISP officers at their payment centers."
The meeting was presided over by Zonal Director BISP Sukkur, Abdul Hafeez Napar, who oversees the BISP operations in the Sukkur region. Other key attendees were Director National Socio-Economic Registry, Deputy Directors Abdul Latif and Abdul Khaliq.
The participants presented rich ideas enriching the decision-making process and resolving complaints of BISP beneficiaries on priority basis.
