An accused who attempted to burn his ex-wife and children alive has been arrested. According to details, a woman from Ghaziabad area of Lahore called the 15 emergency helpline.

The woman reported that her ex-husband was continuously harassing her. The accused even tried to set her and the children on fire by pouring petrol on them. The woman managed to escape to a neighbor's house, saving her and her children's lives.

The Virtual Women's Police Station immediately sent police to the scene. The spokesperson for the Safe City Authority stated that the police reached the site and protected the women and children.

A case has been filed against the accused, and he has been arrested. Further legal proceedings are ongoing. Women who are victims of abuse can contact the Virtual Women's Police Station by calling 15 and pressing 2.
