Pakistani youngster Sohail Adnan has made history by winning a gold medal at the British Junior Open Squash Championship, marking a significant achievement in the sport. Adnan triumphed in the Under-13 category, claiming the title 18 years after the last Pakistani player won it.

This win comes shortly after Adnan's victory at the Scottish Junior Open Squash Championship, further solidifying his growing reputation in the squash world.

The president of the Punjab Squash Association, Noor Amin Mengal, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Adnan for his historic achievement.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated Adnan for his remarkable win. He commended the 12-year-old for his exceptional accomplishment, highlighting the importance of this victory for Pakistan.

“Sohail Adnan has brought great honour to Pakistan by clinching this title,” said Naqvi. “His remarkable achievement of securing this championship after 18 years has elevated the green flag on an international stage.”
