Bilateral cooperation: Regional leaders discuss policies

ISLAMABAD: Senior political and government representatives from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Abu Dhabi held discussions on Tuesday, with the aim of complementing existing channels of communication and exploring new avenues of confidence-building between them.

The ‘Abu Dhabi Process Meeting’ was hosted by the Pakistan government on the proposal of the Abu Dhabi government and facilitated by the East West Institute, at the National Assembly here.

The parliamentarians discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary contacts notably in the context of issues related to security policy and reconciliation.
