Balochistan security measures: Key roads blocked as security tightens

The provincial capital witnessed a prolonged traffic jam for the seventh consecutive day as most of the key roads and economic arteries in the heart of the city were sealed off due to security reasons after the twin suicide attacks.
Police and security forces blocked the Anscomb Road, Zarghoon Road, Shaheed Benazir overhead bridge and the adjoining areas where the Governor House, Chief Minister Secretariat, Civil Secretariat and residences of provincial ministers and secretaries are situated.
Roads throughout the city had barricades and a heavy contingent of police, anti-terrorism force and security forces were deployed across the city.
