Actor Park Sung Hoon becomes embroiled in a controversy after uploading an explicit image on his social media account that featured an Adult Video cover inspired by the Netflix series Squid Game. The image, which depicted numerous nude female actors, was quickly deleted, but not before shocking netizens.
Initially, speculation arose that Park's account had been hacked, but his agency confirmed it was an accidental upload by the actor.
In response to the situation, Park's agency, BH Entertainment, addressed the issue on the 30th, explaining the mishap. “Park Sung Hoon must have accidentally pressed the wrong button while checking the many DMs he received, and it ended up on his story. The actor himself was very surprised and is reflecting on his actions. He will work hard to make sure this never happens again,” a representative told Korean news agency, Maeil Kyungjae's Star Today.
Park Sung Hoon has been in the spotlight for his role as Jo Hyun-joo, a transgender former special forces soldier, in Squid Game 2, which premiered on Netflix on December 26. The incident has sparked discussions among fans, with some expressing disappointment and others accepting his apology.
